What it costs and how to get on the schedule.
How much does mobile detailing cost in Cape Girardeau?
The Essential Detail starts at $170, the Full Detail at $220, and the Pristine Detail at $400. Those are starting prices. The final quote depends on your vehicle's size and condition, and I confirm the number with you before any work starts.
What is the difference between the Essential, Full, and Pristine details?
The Essential Detail is upkeep: hand wash, wheels, glass, a full vacuum, and an interior wipe-down. The Full Detail adds carpet extraction, leather care, paint decontamination, and pet hair removal. The Pristine Detail is the full reset, adding steam cleaning, odor removal, clay bar, wheel coating, a 1-Step paint correction, and a nine-month System X ceramic coating.
Is there a trip fee?
Not in the core area. Travel is built into every package price for Cape Girardeau, Jackson, and the surrounding areas, with no mileage math. Further out, a travel fee may apply depending on the address, and I quote it up front when you book rather than at the door.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Cape Luxury Mobile Detailing LLC is licensed and insured. It is also owner-operated, so the person who quotes your car is the person who details it, every time.
How do I book, and how fast will you reply?
Send a request through the booking page, or call or text (573) 979-5421. I read every request myself and confirm by text, usually the same day. Nothing is on the calendar until I reply to you.
What happens when I pull up.
Do you bring your own water and power?
No. I bring every tool, machine, and product the job needs, and you provide access to a water spigot and a standard outdoor outlet near where the car is parked. That is the one thing I need from you.
How long does a detail take?
Around two hours for an Essential Detail, around four for a Full Detail, and around six for a Pristine Detail. I take a small number of cars a day, so your car gets a full block of time instead of a rushed slot between two other jobs.
Can you detail at an apartment or an office?
Yes. A driveway, an office lot, or a curb all work. I need roughly one car-length of flat space, a water spigot and an outdoor outlet nearby, and any gate code or visitor check-in details sent ahead of time so I am not stuck outside on your time.
Do I need to be there?
I start with a short walkthrough so you can point out anything specific, like pet hair, a stain, or a spot that has been bothering you, and I finish with another before I pack up. It works best if you are around for both. If you cannot be, tell me when you book and we will work it out.
Protection, correction, and keeping it that way.
How long does a System X ceramic coating last?
It depends on the product. Max G+ carries a lifetime warranty, Pro+ carries six years, LVP for leather, vinyl, and plastic carries three years, and Glass+ carries two years. Warranty terms are set by System X and depend on the product installed and on staying current with the required inspections.
Why does a certified installer matter?
Cape Luxury Mobile Detailing LLC is a Certified System X Installer, trained and approved to apply, reapply, and repair System X coatings. Only a certified installer can work on a System X coated surface without voiding the warranty on it.
What is paint correction, and do I need it?
A 1-Step cuts and polishes in a single pass, lifting gloss and clearing light swirls and wash marks, which is the right call for most daily drivers. A 2-Step adds a dedicated cutting stage first, for deeper scratches and heavy swirling. Paint correction is quoted after I see the car in person or in photos, and a 1-Step is already included in the Pristine Detail.
How often should I have my car detailed?
Most of my regulars book an Essential Detail every month or a Full Detail every quarter, which keeps a car from falling far enough behind to need the deep work again. There is no contract and no membership fee. I hold a standing slot, text you a few days before it comes up, and you keep it or move it.
